I don’t think so - it was a northbound line and a Vorortbahn which very early on used Stettiner Bahnhof as its terminus. The maps I’m looking at would suggest they could have entered the Ringbahn if pressed but not without difficulties. If you want to be 100% certain, ask the guys from the S-Bahn Museum (immensely knowledgeable 🌞)
'Er ist von Dalldorf' = he's crazy. In London there was Colney Hatch which also inspired jokes, and also changed its name, in this instance to Friern Barnet. The old asylum has been turned into luxury flats.
