Interesting to me that they used Waterloo instead of Belle Alliance, perhaps to avoid confusion with what is now Mehringsplatz).
Prussian historians never used Waterloo as a reference. Belle Alliance, the inn where Napoleon signed the paperwork, sounded more appealing.
That's what I thought.
Which raises the question of why they chose to use it in this instance.
I doubt it was to celebrate the London Railway Station ans it is much too early for Abva's Eurovision triumph.
