On this day in 1932 in Berlin German dramatic soprano, Johanna Gadski (married Tauscher), star of the NYC Metropolitan Opera, London’s Royal Opera House and one of the most admired performers of Wagnerian female characters (#Brünhilde), died in an awful car accident in Berlin-Wilmersdorf.
