On this day 1934 "Counselling Stations for Racial Hygiene" opened in Berlin's District Health Offices. Their task was to raise the Gebärleistung (birth performance) of Berlin's population according to new racial "quality needs". Only "genetically and racially healthy", "Aryan" couples should procreate.
